Ennismore, the lifestyle hospitality company, has appointed Llewellyn Wyeth as Vice President of Operations, Pacific, as it continues to expand its hotel portfolio across Australia and the wider Pacific region.
Based in Melbourne, Wyeth will oversee strategic and operational priorities across Ennismore’s Pacific portfolio, working closely with General Managers, hotel owners and leadership teams. His responsibilities will include improving operational and commercial performance, enhancing guest experiences and supporting employee development as the company expands its lifestyle hotel brands across the region. He will report to Sylvain Pasdeloup, Chief Operating Officer of Asia Pacific at Ennismore.
Wyeth brings more than two decades of hospitality experience across Australia and the Pacific. Most recently, he served as Area General Manager for Accor’s South Australia portfolio. His previous positions include Regional General Manager for Western Australia and Regional Director of Sales for Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia, along with General Manager roles at major Australian hotels.
His experience covers multi-property operations, hotel openings and transitions, repositioning programmes, food and beverage, events, and relationships with hotel owners and investors. He is also the Co-Founder of Le Mas Barossa, a five-star luxury accommodation property in South Australia’s Barossa Valley and a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World. This has given him direct experience of hotel ownership alongside his operational leadership background.
Ennismore Expands Its Pacific Portfolio
Wyeth’s appointment marks the first of several planned hires as Ennismore invests in its Pacific leadership team amid a period of expansion across the region.
Recent openings in Australia include Mondrian Gold Coast, 25hours Hotel The Olympia Sydney, Hyde Melbourne Place and Hyde Perth. The group is also preparing to introduce more properties across its lifestyle and resort portfolio, with upcoming developments including Hyde Bali Seminyak, The Hoxton Melbourne and a new 25hours Hotel in Bangkok.
Ennismore currently has 30 hotels in the pipeline across Asia Pacific, reflecting its plans to establish a stronger presence in key gateway cities and leisure destinations. The expansion also highlights the growing role of lifestyle hospitality, where hotels combine accommodation with destination-led restaurants, bars and social spaces that appeal to both visitors and local communities.
Through this approach, Ennismore aims to bring its international hotel brands closer to local culture and consumer preferences, creating distinctive hospitality offerings across business and leisure destinations.
The company has also continued to expand its Asia Pacific leadership team over the past year, with senior appointments across operations, culinary, development, people and culture, sales, revenue and distribution, digital marketing, and design and technical services. These teams will support the group’s growing portfolio and its long-term regional ambitions.
Sylvain Pasdeloup, Chief Operating Officer of Asia Pacific at Ennismore, said: “The Pacific is a key growth region for Ennismore. We see significant opportunities to expand our lifestyle brands across major gateway cities and leisure destinations, while bringing a genuinely differentiated proposition to the market through our integrated approach to hotels, restaurants and bars. As our pipeline continues to grow, having experienced leaders close to our hotels, teams and partners is essential to delivering that ambition.”
“I am very pleased to welcome Llewellyn to Ennismore. His appointment is the first of several we plan to make in the Pacific, and it further strengthens our operational leadership across the region. He brings extensive experience of the Australian hospitality market, a strong understanding of hotel operations and owner relationships, and a very hands-on and entrepreneurial leadership style.”
With an expanding development pipeline and further leadership appointments planned, Ennismore is positioning itself for continued growth across Asia Pacific, with Australia and the Pacific remaining important markets for its lifestyle hotels, resorts, restaurants and bars.
