Zoom Appoints Carlos Quaderi as Head of APAC to Accelerate AI-Powered Business Growth

Zoom Communications, Inc. has announced the appointment of Carlos Quaderi as Head of Asia Pacific (APAC), effective 1 August 2026, reinforcing the company’s continued investment in the region as a key driver of future growth.

The appointment comes at a time when businesses across Asia Pacific are increasingly moving beyond standalone productivity tools in favour of AI-powered collaboration platforms that simplify workflows, connect teams and help organisations turn conversations into action.

Reporting directly to Graeme Geddes, Chief Sales and Growth Officer, Quaderi will lead Zoom’s go-to-market strategy across Australia and New Zealand (ANZ), Asia, India and Korea, excluding Japan.

He previously served as Head of Asia, where he successfully led regional strategy, sales execution and market expansion across Southeast Asia, Hong Kong SAR and Taiwan. In his expanded role, Quaderi will now oversee Zoom’s broader APAC business, working closely with regional teams and global leadership to advance the company’s long-term growth strategy.

His priorities will include strengthening Zoom’s customer experience (CX) business, expanding the small and medium-sized business (SMB) segment and growing the company’s partner ecosystem across the region.

Quaderi brings more than 30 years of experience in enterprise technology and digital transformation. Before joining Zoom, he held senior leadership positions at Workday, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft, where he led go-to-market strategies and enterprise growth initiatives across Asia Pacific and Japan.

Based in Singapore, Quaderi will continue overseeing Zoom’s Asia business while leading the company’s expanded APAC operations.

“APAC is a critical growth region, and our continued investment reflects the opportunities we see across enterprise & SMB segments, CX business, and our partner ecosystem,” said Geddes. “Carlos has been instrumental in building our momentum, and expanding his leadership is a natural next step. His deep understanding of the region, customer focus and track record will help more organisations embrace Zoom’s AI capabilities in ways that improve productivity, strengthen customer relationships and accelerate business growth.”

Commenting on his appointment, Quaderi highlighted the growing demand for intelligent collaboration tools that help organisations work more efficiently while maintaining meaningful human connections.

“Across APAC, teams are moving faster than ever, and they need technology that keeps pace without losing the human element and momentum,” said Quaderi. “I’m excited to work alongside our customers and partners in the region to help them unlock new possibilities with Zoom’s AI-powered system of action and open ecosystem, connecting conversations, people and workflows so they can move faster from ideas to impact and achieve meaningful business outcomes.”

Zoom continues to expand its presence across the Asia Pacific region, investing in its growing partner ecosystem while strengthening its regional infrastructure with the opening of a new Singapore office. Through its open platform ecosystem and integrations with existing business applications, Zoom enables organisations to improve collaboration, streamline workflows, strengthen customer engagement and deliver better business outcomes.

With Carlos Quaderi leading its APAC operations, Zoom is reinforcing its commitment to helping businesses across the region adopt AI-powered solutions that support productivity, innovation and long-term growth.
