Radisson Blu Resort Galle has announced the appointment of Medhatithi Bhattacharjee as its new General Manager. Bringing nearly two decades of experience in the hospitality industry, he joins the Sri Lanka beachfront resort with a strong background in hotel operations, commercial strategy, guest experience and leadership.

Throughout his career, Medhatithi has held senior leadership roles across internationally recognized hotel brands, building expertise in driving business performance, developing high-performing teams and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Before joining Radisson Blu Resort Galle, Medhatithi served as Cluster General Manager for Namah Resort Jim Corbett and Namah Nainital, both members of Radisson Individuals. In this role, he successfully managed multi-property operations, strengthened financial performance and led strategic initiatives focused on service excellence and organizational growth.

His leadership and contributions to the hospitality industry were recognized with Hotelier India’s “Young GM of the Year 2025” award, highlighting his commitment to innovation and operational excellence.

Having spent much of his career with Radisson Hotel Group, Medhatithi has also held key leadership positions at Radisson Blu Plaza Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, where he gained extensive experience in hotel management, commercial performance, guest engagement and building people-first workplace cultures aligned with global hospitality standards.

As General Manager, Medhatithi will oversee the overall operations of Radisson Blu Resort Galle, focusing on business growth, guest satisfaction, operational performance and strengthening the resort’s position as one of Sri Lanka’s leading luxury beachfront resorts.
