Trance International Hotels & Resorts has appointed Suryaveer Singh as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), marking a new phase in the company’s plans to grow its presence in India’s hotel management sector.

The appointment was made by Veer Vijay Singh, Chairman and Managing Director of Trance International Hotels & Resorts, who has set out a vision of building one of India’s most admired hotel management companies.

Suryaveer Singh has been associated with Trance Hotels for the past 11 years and brings extensive experience across hotel operations, commercial strategy and the systems that support a growing hospitality business.

Trance International Hotels & Resorts has been expanding its role in India’s hospitality industry, offering services that include hotel management, leasing, consulting, asset management, pre opening services and brand development.

A graduate of École Hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL) and a qualified Wine Sommelier, Suryaveer Singh also completed training with Four Seasons Hotels in Beverly Hills, Bangkok and Bali before joining Trance Group.

Over more than a decade with Trance Hotels, he has played a key role in developing and strengthening systems across the company’s portfolio. His experience covers several areas of hotel management, including day to day operations, online travel agencies (OTAs), hotel websites, distribution channels, revenue initiatives and operational processes.

Working across both commercial and operational functions has given Suryaveer a broad understanding of the hospitality business and the different factors involved in running and growing hotel properties.

As CEO, Suryaveer will oversee Trance Hotels’ overall business strategy, operations and future expansion. His priorities will include strengthening the company’s brand, building on its existing capabilities and identifying opportunities for further growth within India’s competitive hospitality market.

His appointment also comes as hotel management companies continue to play a growing role in the development and operation of hotels across India. With his long association with Trance Hotels and experience across key areas of the business, Suryaveer will be responsible for guiding the company through its next stage of expansion.
