The Artiste Kochi, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel, has announced the appointment of Jihan Jaleel as its new General Manager. Bringing more than two decades of experience in the hospitality industry, Jihan takes on the new role with extensive expertise across hotel operations, revenue management, guest experience, and organizational transformation.

Jihan began her hospitality career with Marriott International at Courtyard by Marriott, the first Marriott hotel in Kerala. Over the years, she has taken on several leadership positions across prominent properties, including Kochi Marriott Hotel and Taj Malabar, building a strong track record in hotel operations and management.

Her decade long association with Marriott International saw her take on a range of operational leadership roles, while also being involved in major pre opening and renovation projects. Her experience across different areas of hotel management has given her a well rounded understanding of both guest expectations and business performance.

Throughout her career, Jihan has been recognised for her focus on operational excellence, guest satisfaction, and team development. Her achievements include the BW Hotelier South Zone Executive Housekeeper Award and recognition as a Top Five Finalist in the Housekeeper Category at the Hotelier Awards.

She has also delivered strong results across key areas of hotel performance, including room profitability, food and beverage operations, guest satisfaction, and talent retention.

Beyond her professional life, Jihan enjoys travelling, discovering new cultures and destinations, reading, and exploring cinema.

As General Manager of The Artiste Kochi, Jihan will focus on strengthening hotel operations, enhancing the guest experience, developing talent, and supporting the property’s overall business growth. She will also work towards further establishing The Artiste Kochi as a distinctive hospitality destination in Kochi.
