Philippine Airlines (PAL) is set to expand its India network with new nonstop flights from Manila to Delhi and Mumbai from December 2026, subject to approval from the Indian Government. The new services will create direct air connections between the Philippines and two of India’s major cities, giving travelers more convenient options for business trips, holidays and cultural experiences.

The launch will mark an important expansion of Philippine Airlines flights to India, connecting Manila with Delhi and Mumbai through direct services.

“Opening services to Delhi and Mumbai strengthens PAL’s network in one of Asia’s most dynamic economies,” said PAL President Richard Nuttall. “These routes will create new opportunities for Filipinos to explore India while supporting the growing movement of travelers, businesses and goods between our two countries.”

Manila to Delhi flight schedule

The Manila to Delhi service will operate three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Flight PR642 will depart Manila at 10:40 PM and arrive in Delhi at 3:00 AM the following day.

The return Delhi to Manila service, operating as PR643, will run every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Flights will depart Delhi at 8:15 AM and arrive in Manila at 5:00 PM.

The new Manila Delhi flights will provide Filipino travelers with a direct connection to India’s capital, making it easier to explore Delhi as well as destinations across northern India.

Manila to Mumbai flight schedule

Philippine Airlines will also operate four weekly flights between Manila and Mumbai. Flight PR646 will depart Manila every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday at 10:40 PM, arriving in Mumbai at 3:05 AM the following day.

The return service, PR647, will operate every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. It will depart Mumbai at 7:15 AM and arrive in Manila at 5:00 PM. All flight timings are local.

Mumbai is India’s financial and commercial capital and is also one of the country’s leading destinations for entertainment, culture, dining and business. The new Manila Mumbai flights are expected to make travel between the Philippines and western India more convenient for both leisure and business travelers.

Airbus A321neo to operate new India routes

Philippine Airlines will operate both India routes with its 168-seat Airbus A321neo aircraft. The aircraft features 12 lie-flat Business Class seats and 156 Economy Class seats. Passengers will have access to a full-service flying experience, including inflight meals, entertainment and PAL’s signature heartfelt service. The aircraft choice will also allow the airline to serve the new routes while offering passengers Business Class and Economy Class options.

Beyond passenger travel, the new Manila Delhi and Manila Mumbai routes will also add cargo capacity between the Philippines and India. Shipments will be able to connect through PAL’s wider international cargo network, supporting trade and business links between the two countries.

The new services come as travel and commercial connections between India and the Philippines continue to grow, with direct air connectivity expected to support tourism, business travel and movement between the two markets.

Easier travel to India for Filipino visitors

Filipino passport holders can also make use of India’s e Visa programme when planning trips to the country. This provides an additional option for travelers looking to visit Delhi, Mumbai and other Indian destinations.

For leisure travelers, the new routes open access to India’s historic landmarks, food, cultural attractions and diverse regional experiences. Business travelers will also benefit from direct access to Delhi, the country’s seat of government, and Mumbai, a major financial and commercial hub.

With the planned launch of direct Manila Delhi and Manila Mumbai flights in December 2026, Philippine Airlines is expanding its presence in the Indian market while creating new travel and trade links between India and the Philippines. The routes will give Filipino travelers more direct access to India’s major cities while strengthening connections between the two countries.
