Andaz Capital Gate Abu Dhabi, a Hyatt hotel, has appointed Tarun Seth as its new General Manager, bringing more than 20 years of experience in luxury hospitality to one of Abu Dhabi’s most distinctive hotels.

Seth takes on the role after building a career across some of India’s leading luxury hotel brands, including Hyatt, Oberoi Hotels & Resorts and Taj Hotels. His experience covers hotel operations, pre opening projects, strategic repositioning, food and beverage and commercial performance, giving him a broad understanding of what it takes to build and manage successful luxury properties.

At Andaz Capital Gate Abu Dhabi, Seth will oversee the hotel’s day to day operations while working on its commercial performance, team development and guest experience. His focus will include creating more personalised stays that reflect Abu Dhabi’s culture, while developing the hotel’s identity as a design focused lifestyle destination in the UAE capital.

Seth joins Andaz Capital Gate Abu Dhabi from Grand Hyatt Gurgaon, where he played a central role in taking the property from its pre opening stage to full operation.

During his time at Grand Hyatt Gurgaon, he helped establish the hotel as a leading luxury destination in the Delhi NCR market. The property went on to rank among Hyatt’s leading hotels in Southwest Asia for guest satisfaction while recording strong operational and commercial results.

His work at the property also earned industry recognition. Seth was named Luxury General Manager of the Year by Hospitality Horizon and was recognised among India’s Top 5 Luxury Hotel General Managers. Before his role at Grand Hyatt Gurgaon, Seth held senior positions with Hyatt and gained valuable experience with Oberoi Hotels & Resorts and Taj Hotels.

Over the course of his career, he has worked across different areas of luxury hotel management, including operations, food and beverage, hotel openings and business growth. This experience has given him insight into both the commercial side of hospitality and the people who shape the guest experience every day.

At Andaz Capital Gate Abu Dhabi, Seth will bring this experience to a property known for its striking design and distinctive approach to contemporary hospitality.

The appointment comes as Abu Dhabi continues to grow its profile as a global destination for luxury travel, business and leisure. The city’s expanding hospitality sector has created increasing opportunities for hotels that combine strong design, local culture and personalised experiences.
