Trilogy Hotels Appoints Benjamin Nesbitt as Director of Operations

Trilogy Hotels has announced the appointment of Benjamin Nesbitt as its new Director of Operations, effective 1 July 2026, further strengthening the company’s leadership team as it continues to grow its hotel portfolio across Australia.

A respected hospitality executive with more than 20 years of experience in hotel operations and hospitality management, Nesbitt brings extensive expertise across branded hotels, independent properties, serviced apartments, and large-scale accommodation precincts. Throughout his career, he has held senior leadership positions with major hospitality brands including Accor, Frasers Hospitality, Meriton Suites, SKYE Hotels & Suites, Stamford Hotels & Resorts, and IHG.

Most recently, Nesbitt served as Precinct General Manager for Accor’s Sydney Olympic Park Hotels, where he oversaw operations across the Pullman, Novotel, and Ibis properties. His strong focus on operational excellence, guest satisfaction, team development, and commercial performance earned him the prestigious Australian General Manager of the Year title at the 2025 HM Awards.

In his new role at Trilogy Hotels, Nesbitt will report directly to Chief Operating Officer Grant Alchin and work closely with hotel owners, general managers, and leadership teams. He will play a key role in enhancing hotel performance, supporting operational strategies, and acting as an important link between property teams and the Trilogy Hotels corporate office.

“We are delighted to welcome Ben to the team,” said Alchin. “At Trilogy Hotels, good people are at the centre of everything we do. Our focus is always on building strong teams and backing our people to succeed, and Ben brings this same mindset. He will be a trusted partner to our owners, general managers and hotel teams, helping to sustain operational excellence across our growing portfolio.”

With a proven track record in hotel leadership and operational success, Nesbitt’s appointment reflects Trilogy Hotels’ ongoing commitment to delivering exceptional results for owners, guests, and teams while driving sustainable growth across its expanding hospitality portfolio.
