The appointment comes as the resort prepares to welcome guests from June 2027, marking the debut of the Andaz brand in the Caribbean.
With more than 20 years of experience in luxury hospitality, Skaletsky brings extensive expertise in resort operations, guest experience, food and beverage management, and team leadership. In his new role, he will oversee all aspects of the resort’s operations while fostering a culture centered on exceptional service, collaboration, and authentic Caribbean hospitality.
As General Manager, Skaletsky will play a key role in shaping the guest journey at Andaz Turks & Caicos at Grace Bay. His focus will be on creating meaningful and memorable experiences that connect visitors with the destination’s natural beauty, vibrant culture, and laid-back island lifestyle. He will also lead initiatives designed to strengthen community engagement and ensure the resort delivers a positive and lasting impact on the local tourism landscape.

Skaletsky’s impressive career includes leadership positions with some of the hospitality industry’s most respected brands, including Montage Hotels & Resorts and The Ritz-Carlton. Most recently, he served as General Manager of Hyatt’s acclaimed Alila Ventana Big Sur, a renowned luxury retreat on California’s iconic coastline.
His professional journey has also taken him across the Caribbean, Florida Keys, Maui, Aspen, San Diego, and Washington, D.C., providing him with diverse operational experience in luxury resorts and destination-driven properties. A graduate of Johnson & Wales University, Skaletsky is widely recognized for his passion for hospitality and commitment to delivering world-class guest experiences.
