
Roswyn Mumbai, the highly anticipated addition to the Morgans Originals portfolio, has named Annam Lubana as its new Hotel Manager. This strategic appointment comes as the property prepares for its grand debut in India’s financial capital, promising a design-led sanctuary that prioritizes cultural connection and individual expression.
With over a decade of experience across leading luxury hospitality brands in India, Lubana steps into the role with a solid foundation in operations and a deeply guest-centric approach. Her appointment comes at a crucial time as the hotel prepares to open its doors and establish its identity in Mumbai’s dynamic hospitality landscape.
A graduate of the Oberoi Centre of Learning and Development and Institute of Hotel Management Mumbai, Lubana built her early career on a strong framework of discipline, service excellence, and leadership accountability. During her time as a guest services management associate, she was awarded the prestigious T.R. Oberoi Gold Medal, recognising her academic distinction and commitment to excellence.
She went on to grow within Marriott International, where she held key leadership roles across luxury properties in India. As Director of Operations at JW Marriott Goa and Director of Rooms at JW Marriott Pune, she managed large teams and complex operations while driving commercial performance. In 2023, her contributions were recognised when she was named Operations Leader of the Year.
Reflecting on her career in hospitality, Lubana says it was “A journey driven by decisive leadership, accountability, and the pursuit of exceptional guest experiences.”
Describing her leadership style as both decisive and empathetic, Lubana places emphasis on trust, accountability, and clear communication. She believes that strong outcomes are built not just on measurable results but also on human connection. “I lead with intent, hold myself and others accountable, and focus on outcomes that are both human and measurable,” she shares. For her, hospitality has always been about delivering meaningful experiences while fostering a culture rooted in trust and collaboration.
At Roswyn, Lubana’s focus will be on shaping the hotel’s identity as a lifestyle destination that prioritises character, consistency, and connection. In the lead-up to its launch, she aims to build a strong service culture, mentor future leaders, and curate guest experiences that feel intuitive, personal, and memorable.
