COVID-19 has impacted a large number of businesses including the ICT sector and probably be considered worse than the economic crisis. Work from home/remotely is the buzz word and an exponential rise in virtual meetings, conferences and even expos has taken place. This has resulted in superior video conferencing facilities, cloud services, increased focus on AI, big data, AR/VR.
Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council (ESC), an autonomous organization under the Department of information Technology has quickly adopted the new format and has been conducting numerous virtual events for the benefit of their membership base of over 2200 manufacturers and exporters covering the entire gamut of Electronics, IT, Telecom and Software Industry.
“To meet the global aspirations of Indian software industry, ESC has created a brand INDIASOFT, a unique global networking international IT event comprising of both exhibition and conference. After 20 editions for the first time the event will go virtual. This can be of benefit as the first Digital edition of Indiasoft will run over three weeks (instead of 3 days) and will also include special geography focused events covering major markets. Apart from that we are able to offer much higher value at a considerably reduced cost to our exhibitors,” said Gurmeet Singh, Executive Director, ESC.
The event will have focussed Conference Sessions with Key Global Industry Leaders and Senior Government officials / Policy Makers. The Hosted Buyers Program in earlier editions of Indiasoft was restricted to emerging markets comprising of developing countries. This is no longer a constraint in the virtual show and we are expecting much larger participation of buyers from developed markets including USA, UK, Canada, Europe, Australia, Japan, Korea etc, in addition to the traditional buyers from the developing countries.
The events are subsidised under the Market Access Initiative (MAI) Scheme of the Department of Commerce for member companies and participation at all four Indiasoft Digital Events is packaged at a very nominal cost of Rs. 20,000/- (exclusive of 18% GST).Early confirmations (50 companies) will get additional visibility of putting their logo on Indiasoft Website and circulation of their profiles with our 50+ Global Partners / Industry Associations for focused match-making and B2B Meetings during the event dates.
