The Ritz-Carlton, Pune has appointed Ishwinder Gill as its new General Manager, bringing on board a seasoned hospitality leader with more than 20 years of international experience across luxury and upscale markets. In his new role, Gill will be responsible for advancing the hotel’s luxury ethos, driving operational excellence and enhancing the overall guest journey.

Prior to this appointment, Gill served as General Manager of W Goa, where he successfully steered the resort’s operations while strengthening its positioning within the luxury lifestyle space. His move to The Ritz-Carlton, Pune represents a shift from a lifestyle-driven resort setting to one of the most iconic and established names in global luxury hospitality.

Commenting on his appointment, Gill said, “I am delighted to join The Ritz-Carlton, Pune and embark on this new chapter. Gill’s career also includes his tenure as Chief Operating Officer at Far East Hospitality, where he oversaw the operations of 26 hotels across Singapore, Malaysia, Japan and Australia. In this role, he contributed significantly to the growth and performance of several prominent upscale and luxury brands, including The Barracks Hotel Sentosa, Oasia Resort Sentosa, The Outpost Hotel and The Clan Hotel.

A graduate of Cornell University, USA, and the William Angliss Institute in Melbourne, Gill brings together strong academic credentials and hands-on leadership expertise.

With his global perspective and deep understanding of luxury hospitality, Gill’s leadership is expected to further reinforce The Ritz-Carlton, Pune’s position as a leading destination for refined luxury in India.
