The Wolseley Hospitality Group Appoints Laura Mills as Managing Director

The Wolseley Hospitality Group, the operator behind some of London’s most celebrated restaurants, has appointed Laura Mills as Managing Director, bringing an experienced hospitality leader on board to guide the group’s next chapter of growth while preserving the character and service that define its dining destinations.

Mills joins the group with almost 15 years of senior leadership experience in the hospitality industry. Most recently, she served as Managing Director of The Ivy Collection, where she led one of the UK’s best known restaurant groups. Her leadership is shaped by a strong focus on people, with a track record of developing talented teams and nurturing long serving leaders.

Commenting on her appointment, Laura said: “Walking through the doors of The Wolseley has always felt like an occasion. It’s a place where European grandeur meets genuine British warmth, and where every guest, whether they’re in for breakfast or celebrating a milestone, is made to feel truly special. I’ve admired these restaurants for years, both as a guest and as someone in the industry, so it’s a real privilege to be joining such a talented team.

“My focus is simple: to protect everything that makes our restaurants so special, look after the people who bring them to life every day, and write the next chapter together.”

Founded in 2003, The Wolseley Hospitality Group brings together a collection of established London dining destinations, including The Wolseley, The Wolseley City, The Delaunay, Brasserie Zédel, Colbert, Fischer’s, Bellanger, Soutine and Manzi’s of Soho.

The group is known for its distinctive restaurant interiors, attentive and personalised service, polished presentation and all day dining experiences. Each restaurant has its own identity, offering guests a range of settings, from grand European inspired dining rooms to neighbourhood brasseries and contemporary restaurants.

Mills’ appointment comes as the group continues to build on the appeal of its restaurant portfolio, where consistency of service, strong teams and distinctive dining experiences remain central to its identity. Her experience leading a large restaurant group is expected to bring valuable expertise to the business as it develops its future plans.

The Wolseley Hospitality Group is owned by Minor International Trading Company Limited (MINT), the parent company of Minor Hotels, which has an international presence across the hospitality sector.

With Mills taking on the Managing Director role, the group will look to build on its established reputation while continuing to develop the people, service and dining experiences that have made its restaurants popular with London diners and international visitors alike.
