Leadership Roundtable focuses on India’s growing global influence
ITB India 2026 has also introduced the inaugural ITB India Leadership Roundtable, held in partnership with global strategy consultancy Simon Kucher. The invitation-only forum provides senior travel industry leaders with a dedicated setting for strategic discussions. Participants include decision-makers from tourism, hospitality, travel technology, investment, destinations and government, bringing different parts of the travel ecosystem into one conversation.
The closed-door discussion cover India’s growing outbound market, destination competitiveness, connectivity, investment, technology and public-private collaboration, as well as the country’s position as both a major tourism destination and an increasingly influential global source market.
The roundtable comes at a time when India’s outbound travel sector continues to attract international attention, while the country’s expanding domestic and inbound tourism markets are creating new opportunities for destinations, airlines, hotels, travel companies and technology providers.
ITB India 2026 extends networking beyond the show floor
For travel professionals, ITB India 2026 is not limited to scheduled meetings and conference sessions. Networking opportunities continue throughout the three-day event, giving exhibitors and buyers more time to develop conversations and explore potential partnerships.
On Day 1, the ITB India Happy Hour brings exhibitors, buyers and other travel professionals together in a more informal setting. It provides an opportunity to reconnect after meetings, continue discussions from the exhibition floor and establish new industry relationships.
On Day 2, the Cruise Capsule returns for its second year, bringing cruise experts, travel trade leaders and MICE specialists together for an afternoon focused on India’s developing cruise market. The programme will explore opportunities and developments in the sector before concluding with a networking session.
With international exhibitors, qualified buyers, industry leaders, conference sessions and dedicated networking opportunities, ITB India 2026 is positioning Mumbai as an important meeting point for the global travel trade and highlighting the growing business potential of India and South Asia.
