
The LaLiT New Delhi has announced the appointment of Vishal Sharma as its new General Manager, marking a significant leadership move for the iconic luxury hotel in the capital. With more than 18 years of experience spanning sales, marketing and hotel operations, Vishal steps into the role with a strong commercial background and a clear understanding of the evolving hospitality landscape.
Vishal began his career with Taj Hotels, Resorts and Palaces, where he developed a solid foundation in luxury hospitality and brand positioning. Over the years, he went on to take up senior sales and marketing roles at some of Delhi’s most prominent hotels, including The Imperial New Delhi, The Claridges New Delhi and Radisson MBD Noida. These experiences helped him build deep expertise in revenue strategy, market expansion and client relationship management.
His association with The LaLiT brand is not new. Vishal previously served as Head of Sales at The LaLiT New Delhi, where he played a key role in strengthening the hotel’s market presence and driving business growth. He later took on a larger responsibility as National Head of Sales (Business Hotels) at The Lalit Suri Hospitality Group, overseeing commercial strategy across multiple properties.
Most recently, he was Director of Sales and Marketing at IHG Crowne Plaza New Delhi Rohini. During his tenure there, he focused on enhancing brand visibility, driving occupancy and expanding corporate partnerships. He was also selected to participate in the prestigious IHG EMEAA General Manager Development Programme 2025, further sharpening his leadership and operational skills.

In his new role as General Manager, Vishal will oversee overall hotel operations, commercial strategy and guest engagement initiatives at The LaLiT New Delhi. His appointment comes at a time when the hospitality industry continues to evolve, with greater emphasis on personalised guest experiences, strategic partnerships and sustainable growth.
