Cenomi Centers Announces Over USD 2.6 Billion Investment in Saudi lifestyle destinations at TOURISE 2025

Cenomi Centers, the leading owner, operator, and developer of contemporary lifestyle and retail destinations in Saudi Arabia, has announced at the inaugural TOURISE Summit in Riyadh a landmark USD 2.6 billion investment in two of its flagship lifestyle and retail developments across the Kingdom. The announcement, made during Summit 2025, reinforces Cenomi’s role as a key enabler of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 tourism and quality-of-life objectives.

The investment covers two of Cenomi’s flagship developments, set to launch in 2026: Westfield Jeddah and Westfield Riyadh. These groundbreaking destinations mark a significant new chapter for Cenomi Centers and their strategic partner URW, following the signing of an exclusive 10-year franchising partnership earlier this year, with an option for an additional 10-year extension.

Westfield Jeddah, slated to open in April 2026, will feature more than 300 stores across a Gross Leasable Area (GLA) of 104,000 sqm. Upon stabilization, it is expected to attract over 15 million visitors annually and contribute more than SAR 3 billion to the national GDP, strengthening Jeddah’s position as a leading destination for lifestyle, retail, and tourism.

Set to open in September 2026, Westfield Riyadh will become one of the region’s most prominent retail and entertainment destinations, hosting over 300 stores with a GLA exceeding 220,000 sqm. With an expected annual footfall of more than 20 million visitors upon stabilization, it will contribute over SAR 5 billion to the national GDP and further enhance Riyadh’s global status as a vibrant capital for commerce, culture, and leisure.

Both projects are designed to set new benchmarks in integrated design, sustainability, and consumer experience across Saudi Arabia’s rapidly evolving retail and leisure landscape. They are poised to significantly boost tourism infrastructure, generate new employment opportunities, and position the Kingdom’s major cities as global hubs for retail and lifestyle.

Alison Rehill-Erguven, Chief Executive Officer of Cenomi Centers, said:

“This announcement marks a transformative milestone in Cenomi’s growth journey and in Saudi Arabia’s retail evolution. With an investment of USD 2.6 billion, we are delivering on our commitment to create world-class lifestyle destinations that elevate quality of life, attract international visitors, and reflect the ambition of Vision 2030. Through these landmark projects, we’re redefining how people connect with brands, culture, and community. Together, they will set new standards for innovation, sustainability, and experience, and help place Saudi Arabia firmly on the global retail and tourism map.”

Launched by Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Tourism, TOURISE is the world’s premier platform for shaping the future of global tourism, bringing together global leaders from across multiple sectors to redefine the industry.

Cenomi Centers’ participation reinforces its position as the Kingdom’s leading lifestyle destination developer, with an expanding network of 21 assets and over 4,200 retail stores across major Saudi cities. The company’s total portfolio now exceeds 1.3 million square meters of GLA, with a robust development pipeline designed to set new benchmarks for retail, leisure and entertainment in Saudi Arabia.
